They claimed they sent me a letter stating why it was closed which I still haven’t received (I did move recently so it could have gotten lost).*Although QVC does not assess interest charges or fees on Easy Pay®, if you use your QCard to pay for an Easy Pay purchase, interest and other fees will apply according to the standard terms and conditions of your credit card agreement. Offer ends 7/31/22. I even used it the same day I called to be sure. This is infuriating that they are trying to put the blame on me and my credit score when my other Comenity account with Victoria’s Secret is still open. Come to find out after the fact that NY&C is closing all of their brick and mortar stores. Just paid off the balance in May and my limit was $800. Granted I just finished fighting breast cancer over the past year so my credit wasn’t stellar but my account was in good standing. They told me my credit score was the reason for closing my account. After several attempts at contact I finally got someone on the phone. I later got notified by various credit monitoring sites that my account was closed. With the letter came all my statements for the last year (I did not request this information). I recent received in the mail a letter saying my request for information on my account was granted. What is to say it is not one of their own employees? Their Account Protection Team did NOT protect me, but instead is trying to fraudulently squeeze $140.00 from a Senior Citizen on a fixed budget. I am being asked to pay $140.00 that was fraudulently charged to their card. I can’t even imagine if they have performed so poorly with 2-3 small purchases, what it would be like with purchase(s) of significant monetary value. Originally I was informed to send a payment of $37.00, which arrived to them in a timely manner. Now, in September 2020, I have received a letter that stated after the review, it was concluded there was no evidence to support my claim of being charged for a wig I did not buy and Comenity would like $140 of my money for something I did not purchase. I had gathered enough evidence to know that this is not a company I could safely work with, and I would be at risk for some type of fraud on their part if I continued doing business with them. I shredded it and all the paperwork connected with Comenity Capital Bank. She said the existing card would be cancelled and a new one would be sent to me. I realized we were in Pandemic Mode, but roosters? The roosters crowed throughout the conversation. A very nice young lady with a heavy accent and roosters crowing in the background answered my call. The statement in July 2020 came back with a charge from the grocery store, as well as $140 from an online wig store? I researched where the wig had been purchased from the CB statement. I used the Ulta Mastercard for $37.00 to purchase groceries. One day, I found myself at the grocery store without my Visa. It really negatively impacts the integrity of Ulta’s reputation to be linked with a bank with so many extremely poor reviews by customers. I am puzzled as to why Ulta would partner with Comenity. We have a Visa Card that we pay off every month and have always had excellent service with them. I decided I was not going to use the Ulta Comenity Capital Bank Mastercard.
